Ok, so I had this tomato pin cushion thing that came with my sewing kit.
The same kind that my grandmother used
and I played with as a kid.
Then....I saw the cutest idea at
The Shabby Chic Cottage.
Gina made a sweet pin cushion using a votive holder.
Ah, inspiration!
I had some supplies including a little nest that I thought would work perfectly.
So, I got to stitchin'
(don't look closely at that part
'cause the underside ain't pretty).
Some help from Glouise
and voila!

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I commented a moment ago to say that I recently saw some robin's egg fabric that I loved, but that seemed too pretty to purchase without a purpose in mind and that this might be it. Your circles fabric is also very sweet. I think I navigated away before posting, but apologies if this is a duplicate. Still not super with it this morning.
