"That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. "Don't be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior-yes, the Messiah, the Lord-has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: you will find a baby wrapped snuggly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger." Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others-the armies of heaven-praising God and saying, "Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased."
My husband knows me well. He finished the last of the coffee this morning and before throwing the container in the recycling bin, asked me if I could use it for anything. But, of course!
Whenever we travel with our pup, I usually put his food rations in a large ziploc bag. However, this spruced up canister would be so much cuter! So, I ripped off the label, broke out my Mod Podge and an adorable sheet of puppy paper. Trimmed the paper down for the sides and lid. Used Mod Podge as a sealer as well. And now he can travel in style!
I spent Sunday afternoon dressed as Elmo for Family and Friends day at church. So fun!
I brought out all my fall decor this week. Our boys and I made these pumpkins last year using this project recipe.
Anytime is a good time to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character! Discounted halloween costumes make great Christmas gifts! Last year, my boys got about 6 or 7 costumes and I got them for 75% off after halloween.
I made garland for our mantle using supplies I already had. Pine cones, twine and circles cut from cardstock. Super cute and TOTALLY FREE!
We snuck away to our favorite park one day to enjoy the beautiful breeze.
Went on a dessert date with my little guy. He chose Krispy Kreme. (I was good and didn't get anything. YAY for willpower!)
We took a field trip to see the Butterfly Ladyat a nearby park. She's a NC expert on caterpillars and butterflies. The boys had a blast holding and seeing these real creatures up close!
