They were white. They were fun.
But after awhile, I found myself yawning everytime I looked at them.
What's a girl to do?
Bust out the black paint, of course!

I had this idea about 30 minutes before hub's friend was coming over. I ran upstairs and got to dippin' into that can of Old Faithful and slathered the paint on. There are six candlesticks altogether. After the last one was painted, I went back to the first and started sanding. Because of their shape, it went really fast. I love my stuff distressed, so imperfections actually made them perfect.
I admit, I spent the rest of the evening staring at my mantle and I didn't even yawn once.
LOVE the candlesticks! You are so creative. I got the frame in the mail today and it TOTALLY made my day. I love it!! Now I just have to find a picute....
