Doggie Bag

My husband knows me well.
He finished the last of the coffee this morning and before throwing the container in the recycling bin, asked me if I could use it for anything.
But, of course!

Whenever we travel with our pup, I usually put his food rations in a large ziploc bag.
However, this spruced up canister would be so much cuter!
So, I ripped off the label, broke out my Mod Podge and an adorable sheet of puppy paper.
Trimmed the paper down for the sides and lid.
Used Mod Podge as a sealer as well.
And now he can travel in style!

instafriday



Hi there, I'm linking up with Jeanett again for instafriday {except, it's Saturday. The weather is just too nice to be indoors on the internet, don't ya think?}

added some new hairbands to the etsy shop this week. goodness, i need a daughter!

took the boys on a field trip to camp flintlock where they learned all about colonial times.

went on a Dessert Date with my oldest. he made a card ahead of time and gave it to me while we were out. i have a feeling he'll make a good husband one day.

created a little "mousehole" and put one of the boys furry mice near it. so cute {especially because it's not real!}

made some hair clips for my friend's two girls who will be going to see mickey and pals this week for the first time.

instafriday


Today, I'm linking up with Jeannett at Life Rearranged for instafriday.



I spent Sunday afternoon dressed as Elmo for Family and Friends day at church. So fun!



I brought out all my fall decor this week. Our boys and I made these pumpkins last year using this project recipe.



Anytime is a good time to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character! Discounted halloween costumes make great Christmas gifts! Last year, my boys got about 6 or 7 costumes and I got them for 75% off after halloween.



I made garland for our mantle using supplies I already had. Pine cones, twine and circles cut from cardstock. Super cute and TOTALLY FREE!



We snuck away to our favorite park one day to enjoy the beautiful breeze.



Went on a dessert date with my little guy. He chose Krispy Kreme. (I was good and didn't get anything. YAY for willpower!)



We took a field trip to see the Butterfly Lady at a nearby park. She's a NC expert on caterpillars and butterflies. The boys had a blast holding and seeing these real creatures up close!
