100th Day of School
I scored major Cool Mom points today when I gave our boys an assignment on our 100th Day of School. I can't take all the credit, though. The idea came from Pinterest and I just tweaked it a little. Gotta love Pinterest!
Each one was given a bowl of 100 Legos and they had to create something using each brick. They were thrilled that part of their schoolwork today was playing with Legos! Homeschool rocks!
Introducing "The Big Gunner" and "The Destructor"
What did your kids do for the 100th Day of School? Did you help them with a project?

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This is for my friend, Finley, who is turning 2 soon!
The theme for her birthday this year is Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Her mom wanted a frame to display at the party, so I tried my best to recreate the little guy and the kazillion colorful dots on the first page.
Don't you just love Eric Carle? This particular book is my favorite. I read it to my boys every night when they were teeny tiny. I loved when they would put their little chubby fingers in the holes of each piece of food. *sigh*
Hope you're having a happy weekend and eating what's good for you!
