The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This is for my friend, Finley, who is turning 2 soon!
The theme for her birthday this year is Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Her mom wanted a frame to display at the party, so I tried my best to recreate the little guy and the kazillion colorful dots on the first page.

Don't you just love Eric Carle? This particular book is my favorite. I read it to my boys every night when they were teeny tiny. I loved when they would put their little chubby fingers in the holes of each piece of food. *sigh*

I received a custom order request this week for a 5x7 "Ralphie" frame.

This is a custom order I just finished for a frog lovin' FL lady's birthday. It's one of my favorites. Each piece was hand cut with scissors. I hope she likes it as much as I do.

We're relocating next month (same city, new house) so I'm between packing, finishing orders, homeschooling, planting a church, and staying sane.

Just got done wrapping up the rest of the orders
that came in over the last week.

Between cleaning up poop and doing mounds of laundry,
I finally finished everyone's Mother's Day surprises.

Now, it is time for this mother to relax.

Three Men In A Tub and A Little Bit Of Lub...er Love

As you can see I've been very busy lately creating little lovies for Valentine's Day. I'm just getting over Christmas, but with what I do, I have to be thinking months ahead. So from wall art to picture frames, this is what I've whipped up so far for my etsy shop and boutiques.

My son's teacher celebrated her birthday yesterday and this is what I made for her.

Mrs. F came running up to me today at the school and was so excited to say that it was already hanging on a wall in her house.

It did my heart good.

Dove Delivery

When I say that I've been busy, I truly mean it. Not only am I a wife and mom, but I try and manage my Etsy shop, sell my wares in two stores and take custom orders.

It's all great fun, mind you, but for the last couple of days, I've also added to that list:

getting my house ready for company this weekend,

packing for holiday travels,

rearranging the house to accommodate Christmas decorations

(yes, there's usually a tree in every room)...

Whew! Just typing that makes me want to take a big, fat nap.

Anyhoo, here are the frames that just shipped today.

Heidi's Holiday

Heidi's holiday is off to a great start.

She recently saw some things I put in my etsy shop and placed an order.

For her dudes, she wanted polka dot star ornaments in traditional Christmas colors.

and of course, she wanted a pink and green one for herself.

(I've nicknamed her The Polka Dot Princess)

and she had to have one of my Funky Zebra frames, too.
